We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Recruitment Co-ordinator to join our Recruitment Team. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, efficient, and responsive recruitment service, supporting managers and candidates throughout the full recruitment lifecycle.
Working within a busy and fast-paced environment, you will coordinate recruitment campaigns, manage recruitment administration, complete pre-employment checks, provide expert recruitment advice, and ensure vacancies are progressed efficiently from advert to appointment.

Main duties of the job
As a Recruitment Co-ordinator, you will:
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment campaigns across a variety of roles. Create, update and publish recruitment adverts using NHS Jobs and our applicant tracking system. Support managers through all stages of recruitment and selection. Manage recruitment administration including shortlisting, interview arrangements and assessment centres. Undertake pre-employment checks including references, DBS checks, right-to-work verification, professional registration and occupational health clearance. Maintain accurate records on our applicant tracking system, ESR and other recruitment systems. Provide advice and guidance to managers and applicants on recruitment policies, procedures and employment checks. Support onboarding activities, induction arrangements and new starter processes. Participate in recruitment events, careers fairs and outreach activities. Contribute to service improvement initiatives and ensure recruitment processes remain compliant with NHS and legislative requirements.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Educated to GCSE/HNC standard plus CPP or equivalent experience Level 3 Foundation qualification in CIPD or equivalent experience
Experience Essential
Significant recent experience in Recruitment High volume recruitment Experience of using IT office systems including e-recruitment systems (incl TRAC/NHS Jobs) and e-employee records systems (incl ESR) Advising managers and applicants on all stages of the recruitment process
Desirable
Working in the NHS
Knowledge Essential
Understanding and ability to advice on recruitment procedures / practices and related employment legislation. Ability to communicate and advise hiring managers and applicants on all stages of the recruitment process Ability to plan and prioritise own work and meet deadlines
