Job summary
Applications are invited from candidates who are suitably qualified and experienced in administrative duties and clerical work to offer administrative support to our busy paediatric speech and language therapy teams.
We are looking for a highly organised individual, who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills to join our friendly and supportive admin team providing a comprehensive clerical and secretarial service to the team of Speech and Language Therapists and Assistants in the paediatric service.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the post include answering telephone queries from patients / families / professionals, booking appointments, sending out clinical correspondence and maintaining admin systems, including SystmOne. Other varied duties of the post will include handling post, photocopying, filing and typing clinical correspondence.
This post would be suitable for staff who have completed a Business Admin Apprenticeship and/or for staff looking to offer administrative support to a clinical, community-based service.

Therefore the postholder must be able to meet the travel requirements of the post.
