An exciting opportunity has arisen for aclinical leadin the speciality of Cancer Menopauseto provide Direct care 1PA Programmed Activity per week to;
Provide high quality, safe and caring health and care services forpatients experience menopause symptoms due to cancer treatmentand to lead collectively, with partners, to deliver system wide service.
Develop resources and training to support the Trust clinical cancer teamsand othersin management of menopause symptoms from cancer treatment
Improve services within available resources.
Promote innovation, quality improvement via research and audit
Create opportunities by working with new partners

Main duties of the job
The purpose of the service is to providea specialised clinic and /or advice andguidance,education and training to the clinical teams and others in menopause management and whererequiredprovide clinics.
o Ensure the advice and resources in menopause management are fit for purpose to provide a safe and effective service in the Trust.
o Work with existing services in providing care and advice for patientsexperiencing menopausal symptomsin line with regional and nationalguidance.
o Service developmentwithin the specialty
o Ensure that national and regional standards are met.
o Ensure thatinterventions aretimelyfor patients.
o Work withcancer teamsto ensure that interface services are fit for purpose.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
MRCP Certificate or an equivalent higher qualification Clinical training and experience equivalent to UK CCT or SAS doctor with independent practice within the specialty or GP with specialist interest The appointee will be required to maintain full GMC registration and revalidation and should follow the GMC Code of Good Medical Practice
