Role: Staff Nurse, In Patient Unit
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £32,073 - £39,043 (4-point scale), plus an unsocial hours enhancement of £4,906 based on Point 1. Total annual package: £36,112.
Appointments are normally made at Point 1 of the salary scale, in line with the organisations pay policy. A higher starting salary may be offered where the successful candidate brings the relevant experience, skills, and competencies for the role.

Working PatternThis role is for 36 hours per week, worked across three long shifts. The post forms part of a rotational shift pattern, requiring flexibility to work day shifts (7:30am8:30pm), night shifts (8:00pm8:00am), weekends and bank holidays.

The RoleAs a Staff Nurse within our Inpatient Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based specialist palliative care. This is a challenging and rewarding role, requiring resilience, compassion and strong clinical judgement. Working as part of a compassionate and supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide holistic, person-centred care that promotes dignity, comfort and choice for patients and those important to them.
You will be a Registered General Nurse with a genuine passion for delivering holistic, person-centred care and an interest in specialist palliative and end-of-life care. Whether you are an experienced nurse or newly qualified, you will be supported by a skilled and compassionate multidisciplinary team, with access to training, development and mentorship to help you excel in the role.
