Job summary
We are looking for a midwife who has a passion for education and can offer the right support to our pre-registration students to achieve their goal to become qualified midwives.
We want someone who has a focus on evidence-based training as well as pastoral support to ensure an excellent student experience as well as successful completion of training.
This role is North Middlesex Hospital based.
Main duties of the job
This role will require the postholder to demonstrate high levels of organisation and sound clinical knowledge. They would need to have a good understanding of midwifery training and other issues in maternity education.
They will also need to have a strong focus on the health and wellbeing of our student population.

Education and Qualifications Essential
Qualified midwife with active NMC registration. First degree ENB 998 / Mentorship or teaching qualification Practice Assessor Neonatal life support instructor PROMPT/ALSO trainer

Masters level qualification or a post graduate qualification Practice teacher or other teaching qualification or willingness to work towards
