Main Responsibilities: As a Receptionist/Administrator, you will:
Provide a welcoming and supportive front-line service to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals. Operate and manage appointment systems, including scheduling, prioritising, and filling cancellations.
Handle telephone and face-to-face enquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Maintain accurate patient records (both electronic and paper-based), manage referral and recall lists, and ensure timely data entry and analysis.
Support clinicians by preparing day lists and coordinating patient notes.
Process incoming and outgoing post, referrals, and reports.
Liaise with other clinics and services to support patient care pathways.
Contribute to service improvements by implementing and adapting policies and procedures.
Provide general clerical and administrative support including filing, scanning, photocopying, and typing.
Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with the Data Protection Act and Caldicott Guidelines.
