Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the migration of Guidewire ClaimCenter from on-premises to Guidewire Cloud. The BA will work closely with business stakeholders, claims operations teams, Guidewire consultants, solution architects, and delivery teams to analyse current-state processes, define future-state cloud requirements, identify gaps, and support successful cloud adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Lead business analysis activities for the Guidewire ClaimCenter Cloud Migration program.
Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
Facilitate workshops with Claims business users, Product Owners, SMEs, and IT stakeholders.
Analyse existing ClaimCenter configurations, customizations, integrations, and business processes.
Perform fit-gap analysis between current-state implementation and Guidewire Cloud capabilities.
Create and maintain user stories, process flows, requirements documentation, and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with Guidewire architects and developers to define cloud-compliant solutions.
Partner with QA teams on test planning, UAT preparation, defect triage, and business validation.
Required Experience
8+ years of Business Analysis experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.
Min. 5+ years of Guidewire ClaimCenter experience.
Experience on at least one Guidewire Cloud migration, cloud upgrade, or major ClaimCenter implementation.
Strong understanding of Claims business processes including FNOL, investigation, reserves, payments, recoveries, and claim lifecycle management.
Experience conducting fit-gap assessments and requirements workshops.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Guidewire Cloud Platform migration experience.
Experience with ClaimCenter integrations, reporting, and data migration initiatives.
Guidewire ClaimCenter certification preferred.
Experience working with Guidewire Cloud standards and best practices.
Prior experience supporting large-scale insurance transformation programs.
