Job Shift: Days

Job Type: Full Time

The Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator demonstrates expertise and knowledge in surgical service line. Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and patient for each procedure. Demonstrates knowledge, etiology, and description of detailed procedures and correlating instrumentation involved with service line procedures. Stays current with new techniques and mentors the staff. Assists with staff education. Circulates in cases to assist the surgeon and to mentor new staff to these procedures. Assures that all equipment is available and in working order. Manages the equipment and inventory and is responsible for organizing the cases on a daily basis. Orders supplies as needed to maintain the necessary inventory for each case. Works with management to coordinate cases and staff.

• Oversees Service Line Quality • Organizes Patient Care Activities • Assists with Staff Development • Promotes Positive Customer Relations. • Demonstrates leadership skills

Education:

• BSN preferred

Experience:

• 3- 5 years OR experience with specific surgical service line preferred

Licensure:

• Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida

Certifications:

• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart or equivalent) • CNOR preferred #LI-MQ1
