Turtle Talk & Animation Academy - Part Time
Job Description: Turtle Talk:
Cast Members in this role engage our guests in real-time interactions portraying Crush from the Walt Disney Pictures’ presentation of the Pixar Animation Studios films, Finding Nemo and Finding Dory. This incredible experience will allow our guests to have spontaneous conversations with the surfer-dude sea turtle. You must be able to portray the voice of Crush in tone and personality; be a dynamic, out-going and dependable individual who enjoys performing in front of small or large audiences.
Animation Academy:
Get ready with your pencils and sketchbook! Animation Academy offers a fantastic opportunity to guide guests as they learn to draw some of our beloved Disney characters. Cast Members may also be scheduled to work at other Attraction Locations.
Additional Information: SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. You may be scheduled a graveyard shift. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.

Basic Qualifications: • Confident in engaging with large groups • Able to perform repetitive duties while ensuring high-quality results • Capable of adhering to detailed instructions Cast Members must meet the following Resort Hourly Transfer eligibility guidelines: • Must be a currently active cast member (not on any type of leave of absence) • Must be in the current area for 4 months • Availability must meet the scheduling needs of the new department • Performance record must be clear of any work performance/attendance issues (written warnings or suspensions) within the past 4 months
Responsibilities: • Engage with Guests on a regular basis • Showcase solid artistic skills • Perform Voice Acting (Turtle Talk) • Welcome and greet Guests
Compensation Details: The pay rate for this role in California is $23.40 per hour.
The base pay actually offered follows the minimum wage scale agreed upon in the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
