This position supports Weekend shift with hours of 5:00 AM-5:30 PM, Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
As a Quality Supervisor, you will: • Oversee and manage a staff of Quality Inspectors • Mentor and lead the team through daily work processes and troubleshooting • Ensure compliance to ISO 9001 • Act as point of contact for external and internal customers regarding product quality issues • Strive for continuous improvement, driving down cost of poor quality and improving efficiency while maintaining a strong "Safety First" culture • Research and use best practices and work with local stakeholders to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system (QMS) • Through the Quality team, continually work to reduce quality escapement risk, modernize and enhance analytical and inspection capabilities, and improve efficiencies and business processes • Supervise the production of the Quality Improvement Associates ensuring effective skill assessment of new and existing staff and to facilitate training to address the gaps identified • Collect, analyze, and summarize data to prepare reports and make recommendations • Develop programs and lead training for A3 projects and Kaizen events • Maintain, modify, apply, and develop quality evaluation control systems and protocols
Required Skills and Education: • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and four years experience to include Quality Assurance or Quality Control roles, or the overall equivalent • Prior supervisory experience • Experience operating within the ISO 9001 standard • Analytical ability and strong background in problem solving techniques (A3, DMAIC, etc.) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with personal computer to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database applications • Experience developing short and long-term strategies for the organization and incorporating Six Sigma, Agile, and other practices • Experience leading key projects for improvement across all levels of the organization • Ability to provide collaborative training, mentoring, and coaching • May consider candidates with fewer years experience for a more junior role or additional experience for a more senior role • Able to support the Weekend Shift: 5:00 AM-5:30 PM, Friday/Saturday/Sunday

Preferred Skills and Education: • ASQ certification • Experience supporting quality in a manufacturing environment • Experience managing a quality program in support of government contracts, preferably DoW • Formal training in statistics • Formal training in root cause analysis • Experience implementing APQP in a low-rate, technically complex product environment
