The YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Soccer For Succes Coach to lead our youth soccer program. This role involves coaching and refereeing for children aged 3-8. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a solid understanding of soccer fundamentals. The coach will be responsible for both teaching soccer skills and facilitating games, creating an engaging and supportive environment for all participants. Location : Huntington YMCA Shifts: Saturdays: 9:15 am - 12:00 pm Session Dates: Summer Sessions Responsibilities: Instruct and coach children on soccer fundamentals, including skills and drills. Referee games, ensuring fair play and adherence to the rules. Session Structure: Begin each session with a brief lesson on drills, followed by facilitating gameplay among participants. Adapt to a schedule that may change based on enrollment. Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging atmosphere. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
