You will have the opportunity to be mentored while participating in the following: Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams—including transportation, civil engineering, planning, surveying, geotechnical, landscape architecture, and environmental professionals—to review site plans, assess projects, and develop solutions that minimize environmental impacts. Conduct site visits, collect field data, and perform biological and aquatic surveys to support environmental analysis and reporting. Assist in preparing environmental documentation and technical reports in compliance with NEPA, CEQA, and TRPA requirements. Navigating environmental planning and permitting processes by coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies to secure necessary regulatory approvals. Assist in preparing permit applications, monitor construction activities for compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and design specifications throughout project lifecycles. Stay current on regulatory changes and support informed project decision-making. Assist in supporting project delivery through research and project scoping. Build client relationships.
