About us: Upway is a fast growing startup building the largest marketplace for refurbished e-bikes globally. We have refurbished over 100,000 e-bikes in just three years and is planning to refurbish 1 million by 2030. Upway's mission is to make e-mobility accessible to a wide range of people. Our goal is to build the largest and highest quality e-bike range by sourcing and reconditioning the best e-bikes. What we are looking for: We are looking for our Head of Business Development - US to lead the B2B Sourcing team in the US. Your mission is central to Upway’s growth: building, leading and enabling the team that will secure high-quality second-hand e-bikes from professional partners so we can continuously expand and renew the offering available on our platform. You will play a pivotal role in engaging and onboarding key accounts, including major chains and buying groups across the whole country. Together with your team, you will collaborate closely with a diverse network of retail partners and take ownership of sourcing the best e-bikes at the most competitive prices. Lead the B2B sourcing team : Build, coach, and lead a high-performing B2B sourcing team. Unlock and develop key retail partners and buying groups through effective negotiation and long-term partnership building, fostering strong commercial relationships that drive sustainable growth and mutual success. Define the B2B sourcing strategy : Develop a comprehensive B2B strategy for the US market in terms of bike shops portfolio management, partner tiering and allocation, field cadence… Own and optimize the team performance : Track and improve key KPIs such as bikes sourced, portfolio growth and activity rate Deploy New Services : As we develop new opportunities to collaborate with our partners (pickup, dropoff, maintenance), lead the deployment on the ground and co-design partner communications (newsletters, point-of-sale materials, etc.) Improve sales operations : Design and implement scalable sales processes, CRM workflows, and operational frameworks.
