We are looking to add an experienced Grants Specialist within the Planning and Community Development Department. This individual will work collaboratively with our team to assist with a wide range of municipal clients. This position is responsible for writing and administering a broad range of grants from local, state and federal funding sources. This individual will have exemplary interpersonal skills and able to manage relationships and deadlines with municipal clients. Research and surveillance for outside grant opportunities Technical writing and development of grant applications Communication of identified grant opportunities and key requirements to clients Maintenance of a grant tracking system Coordination with agencies and/or departments regarding grant applications Preparation of reimbursement documentation Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements of the organization Multitasking, organizational and time management skills Administration of grant and loans Performs related duties as assigned
