Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Civil Engineer to assist with our projects in Columbus, OH! This role focuses on commercial site development while offering exposure to a wide range of public and private projects including industrial, residential, energy, and water/wastewater developments throughout the Midwest. Support licensed engineers in the design and preparation of commercial and site development projects Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical designs, and construction document packages Develop feasibility studies, due diligence reports, zoning studies, and early-stage planning documents Perform stormwater modeling, hydraulic/hydrologic analysis, and drainage design Prepare cost estimates and detailed design plans for commercial and mixed-use developments Coordinate with internal MSG teams including Surveying, Geotechnical, Environmental, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, and Construction Services Apply agency standards and design criteria to support permitting and project approvals Engage with reviewing agencies to address comments and guide projects through approvals Support projects from conceptual design through construction documentation
