As a Roadway/Site Engineer-in-Training (EIT), you will support the planning, design, and delivery of roadway and site development projects while continuing to grow your technical and professional skills under the guidance of licensed Professional Engineers. Assist with the preparation of roadway design plans, profiles, and cross sections using AutoCAD Civil 3D Support design tasks related to grading, drainage, utilities, water, and sewer systems Prepare calculations, quantities, and exhibits in support of design development Assist with the development of technical memoranda, design plans, specifications, and reports Support permitting and agency coordination efforts in various jurisdictions Contribute to engineer’s opinions of probable cost and quantity takeoffs at various project stages Perform quality control checks on plans and documents under the supervision of a Professional Engineer Coordinate with project team members across multiple disciplines Participate in client meetings, internal coordination meetings, and project reviews as appropriate Provide construction support services, including responding to RFIs and assisting with construction observation tasks
