As a Senior Traffic Engineer, you will lead a traffic team through a variety of traffic forecasting, analysis, and design needs across MOT, signing, signals, ITS, and lighting for a variety of transportation projects. You will be part of a growing company focused on meeting our clients' needs, while also solving their problems. The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented. Manage and deliver design and preparation of MOT phasing strategies, signing, striping, and traffic control plans, as well as traffic signal, ITS, and lighting projects, from planning through design and construction support Serve as technical lead on small to large-scale traffic design assignments, ensuring quality control and compliance with MUTCD, FHWA, AASHTO, DOT, and applicable agency standards Prepare and oversee the development of studies, technical reports, construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates from concept through final delivery Coordinate with roadway, structural, planning, utility, drainage, and construction teams to support integrated project delivery and ongoing business development efforts Aid in mentoring junior staff across traffic and related disciplines
