We are seeking fresh engineering graduates to support transportation and infrastructure construction projects across highways, bridges, and airports. The successful candidate will perform field inspection and office engineering duties, including interpreting construction plans and specifications, overseeing materials testing, reviewing documentation, and preparing reports. Experience with NJDOT or NJ Turnpike Authority projects is highly desirable. This is an on-site position requiring daily field presence. The role involves outdoor work in varying conditions and flexibility to accommodate night shifts and occasional weekend assignments based on project requirements. Perform field inspections on highway, bridge, airport, and transportation infrastructure construction projects Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards Read and interpret engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and contract documents Prepare daily inspection reports, field documentation, and project records Assist with Office Engineer responsibilities, including reviewing construction documentation and coordinating project information Coordinate with Resident Engineers, project managers, contractors, and client agencies Support materials testing, quality assurance, and project closeout documentation as required Work on-site daily, with availability for night shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends based on project schedules
