Rinker Design Associates (RDA) is looking for a Senior Traffic Manager to help lead traffic design and operational analysis on innovative transportation projects across Virginia. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a talented team, contribute to impactful multimodal solutions, and play a key part in shaping the future of transportation infrastructure in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. Lead Technical Excellence: Direct and oversee the technical development of traffic designs and operational analyses for diverse and innovative roadway and multimodal projects. Ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety in the design and analysis of traffic operations, signal systems, and complete streets for all modes of transportation—vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian. Drive Project Success: Lead project meetings, present traffic design aspects, and provide technical expertise to ensure high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with clients, agency representatives, contractors, and internal teams to deliver innovative traffic solutions. Ensure Quality and Standards: Maintain high standards for deliverables and perform quality control for team members' work. Support Project Management: Assist project managers in meeting schedule and budget goals while driving technical progress. Foster Innovation: Develop intelligent transportation systems, signal designs, interchange access reports, and signing and pavement marking plans.
