HMB Professional Engineers is seeking a CEI Project Manager with experience in Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI), particularly on Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) projects. Managing all aspects of CEI projects, ensuring successful delivery in accordance with TDOT and municipality requirements, project scope, schedule, and budget Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, including TDOT personnel, contractors, and stakeholders Supervising and mentoring Project Administrators, Senior Inspectors, and field staff Providing leadership, direction, and oversight to CEI teams across multiple projects Reviewing and approving construction documentation, reports, pay estimates, and change orders Ensuring compliance with quality standards, specifications, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed Coordinating field activities, inspections, testing, and project closeout processes Managing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation Leading project meetings and providing regular status updates to Division Manager, clients, and internal leadership Supporting business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client relationship management Ensuring proper training, development, and performance management of assigned staff
