Design of transportation-related structures including bridges, culverts, and retaining walls with reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel, and timber elements Assist senior design staff in structural design, drafting & review Collaborate with structures group, other disciplines, and sometimes clients to complete projects Ensure designs comply with applicable local, state, and federal guidelines and codes Develop engineers cost estimates Guide junior staff by providing direction and constructive feedback
