We're looking for a Survey Crew Member to join the HMB team in Tennessee! Engaged professionals lie at the heart of our vision statement. That’s why we strive to create a work environment that challenges and inspires our employees, igniting their passion and drive to achieve greatness each and every day. • Assist the Surveyor and survey crew in performing field surveys for roadways, bridges, utilities, and related infrastructure projects. • Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including GPS units, total stations, data collectors, and levels. • Hold and position survey rods, prisms, and other equipment to obtain accurate measurements. • Drive survey vehicles to and from job sites and ensure proper care of company equipment. • Clear brush and debris as needed to establish line-of-sight for survey measurements. • Set stakes, hubs, and markers to designate grades, alignments, and reference points. • Record field notes and support documentation efforts as directed by the Crew Chief or Surveyor. • Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with company and regulatory safety standards at all times. • Work outdoors in various weather and terrain conditions.
