Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring an Entry Level Roadway Design Engineer for our Baton Rouge, LA office to work on a variety of Transportation projects throughout Louisiana. Performs engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for roadways, intersections and related infrastructure, including new construction and rehabilitation. Prepares construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for contracting and bidding of construction projects. Performs analysis and design of stormwater management facilities for roadway drainage. Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Maintains and documents written and verbal communications with clients throughout the development and completion of a project. Prepares engineering studies and reports. Prepares project design using sound engineering principles, engineering software and tools.
