We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our Tempe, Arizona office. Perform structural design, analysis, and engineering calculations for a variety of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, contributing to the delivery of safe, reliable, and sustainable facilities. Develop and support the preparation of construction drawings, technical specifications, and other project deliverables from concept through final design. Conduct structural assessments and field investigations, and assist in preparing engineering reports, technical memoranda, and construction cost estimates. Apply sound engineering principles, industry standards, and best practices to solve technical challenges and deliver high-quality design solutions. Independently manage smaller engineering assignments with defined objectives while collaborating with senior engineers on complex, multidisciplinary projects. Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure designs are technically sound, constructible, and aligned with project goals, budgets, and schedules. Provide guidance and technical direction to CAD designers, technicians, and support staff to ensure the timely delivery of accurate project documentation. Continuously expand technical knowledge by staying current on emerging technologies, design standards, and industry best practices.
