We are seeking a Rail / Transportation Professional Engineer (PE) to lead and support the design and delivery of railway and transportation infrastructure projects across Texas. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer ready to take ownership of project tasks, mentor junior staff, and contribute meaningfully to a growing rail practice. Lead and support the development of rail and civil design plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates for rail, transit, and transportation projects. Prepare and review track geometry, grading, drainage, roadway/rail interface details, and other key design components. Coordinate and manage the work of multidisciplinary project teams, including structures, drainage, environmental, and signals/communications. Support project managers with design criteria development, project guidelines, schedules, and meeting documentation. Independently lead small to mid-sized projects or major design components of larger, complex rail infrastructure projects. Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering interns, designers, and CAD technicians. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as AREMA, FRA, and TxDOT (where applicable). Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and team success.
