We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Engineering Team Lead to guide a group of engineers in delivering high-quality design solutions for a variety of commercial, industrial, energy, utility, and community projects throughout the Midwest. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers and designers, overseeing day-to-day project execution and team performance. Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams across multiple disciplines including Surveying, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, and Environmental Engineering. Oversee and review the development of construction documents, including plan sets, specifications, and bid packages. Manage complete site civil design for private development projects, including site layout, grading, utility and SWPP plans. Oversee preparation of feasibility studies, due diligence reports, zoning analyses, stormwater modeling and design, cost estimates, and detailed engineering plans. Perform and review design calculations, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and standards. Lead communication with clients and reviewing agencies to resolve comments and ensure smooth project approvals. Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
