Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team! The primary focus of this role will be to provide technical and design expertise, support project delivery, and help guide the development of early-career engineers through mentorship and leadership. Lead mechanical design for facility and water/wastewater pump station projects, including process piping, HVAC, and equipment layouts Develop detailed mechanical design packages, including plans, sections, details, P&IDs, and specifications Perform pump and pipe flow calculations, system curve analyses, and equipment sizing for various process applications Design and specify heat trace systems, insulation, and freeze-protection components for facility and outdoor installations Evaluate and select mechanical equipment such as pumps, valves, piping, heat exchangers, and mechanical supports Participate in design reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements Provide technical leadership by planning and delegating project work, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting their professional growth and development
