The Role: A Strategic "Farmer" We are not looking for a traditional "hunter." Due to our long-standing market reputation and dominance, the vast majority of our leads convert into sales. We are seeking a Farmer —a relationship-oriented professional who excels at building deep trust with plant managers, maintenance departments, and engineers. Your objective is not cold-calling; it is to serve as the trusted technical advisor our clients rely on for their most demanding equipment needs. Relationship Management: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for steel mills across the Midwest territory. Technical Consultation: Conduct site visits to "hot end" environments to identify equipment wear, campaign life extensions, and safety improvement opportunities. Account Stewardship: Manage the full sales lifecycle, from identifying requirements to coordinating with internal fabrication and engineering teams. Market Intelligence: Stay embedded in the steel and power generation sectors to anticipate large-scale capital equipment replacement cycles.
