About this role
The Michigan Education Policy Fellowship (MEPF), The Policy Leader Cohort is a 2-year leadership opportunity for current or previous educators and school leaders. During the second year, fellows are matched with organizations from September through June to provide fellows additional experience to become system level leaders in the field of policy, advocacy, and/or organizing while creating a unique learning space for the cohort to learn, reflect, and build collective power together. During the secondary year, fellows are expected to commit an average of 10-15 hours per week (up to 10 hours with the partner organization, up to 5 hours with Teach for America Detroit) and are compensated for their time. At least four years of professional experience, including experience as a PK-12 teacher or school leader Receives recommendation from supervisor All educators should be prepared to enter certification information when completing their application.
