Location: Limpopo, South Africa About the Role: Sun King is looking for a qualified and motivated Solar Installation Technician to join our team in driving the adoption of clean energy solutions in South Africa. You will be accountable for the solar installations; from site assessment to system activation, and ensuring compliance with all South African safety regulations and standards System Installations Participate in site assessments to assess suitability for solar panel installation Assist with designing and planning solar system installations based on customer needs and roof specifications. Install racking, solar panels, electrical components, and wiring, ensuring proper functionality and safety. Perform electrical wiring and grounding according to code requirements. Test and validate the installation and verify performance and efficiency. Conduct preventative maintenance on solar systems and troubleshoot any issues. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all installation and maintenance activities. Work effectively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process. Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Follow the SANS standards for Installations. Any other business as assigned by your supervisor.
