Role Description We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to support large-scale, mission-critical data center projects in the Campinas region, Brazil. This role will lead Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance, ensuring adherence to Brazilian legislation, OSHA standards, project requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have proven construction EHS experience , preferably in data center or mission-critical environments , along with advanced English to effectively collaborate with project teams, contractors, subcontractors, and international stakeholders while fostering a strong safety culture. Lead the implementation and enforcement of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs across mission-critical construction sites. Conduct routine site inspections, safety observations, audits, and compliance assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks. Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, and control measures for High-Risk Activities (HRAs), including lifting operations, permits, and task planning. Ensure compliance with Brazilian legislation, OSHA standards, project requirements, and project-specific EHS and Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP). Partner with project teams, general contractors, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to promote safe work practices and ensure EHS expectations are consistently met. Review and maintain EHS documentation, including training records, competency verification, site safety plans, inspections, and compliance reports. Monitor EHS KPIs, corrective and preventive actions, and lead incident and near-miss investigations to drive continuous improvement. Lead emergency preparedness planning, safety meetings, toolbox talks, onboarding sessions, and EHS training programs. Identify opportunities to improve safety performance while fostering a strong, proactive safety culture across all project activities. Support the successful delivery of complex, mission-critical construction projects by ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
