Patient Care & Advanced Technical Skills Provide overnight monitoring and management of ICU and critical care patients Perform advanced technical procedures including: IV catheter placement Blood collection and transfusions Radiographs Anesthesia induction and monitoring Assist with emergency stabilization, triage, and urgent interventions Support Internal Medicine diagnostics such as ultrasound, endoscopy, and advanced lab testing Administer medications via IV, IM, SQ, oral, and injectable routes Deliver detailed post-procedure and critical care monitoring Client Communication Provide overnight patient updates to pet owners Communicate treatment plans, diagnostics, and next steps with clarity and compassion Team Collaboration Work closely with ER doctors, ICU teams, and Internal Medicine specialists Participate in case rounds and ensure continuity of care across departments Medical Records & Facility Standards Maintain accurate, thorough medical records and treatment logs Ensure ICU, treatment, and workspaces are clean, stocked, and hospital-ready
