West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is looking for a compassionate, dependable Kennel Attendant to join our team! We are seeking candidates who are available for long-term employment and are not hiring for seasonal opportunities. What You'll Do As a Kennel Attendant, you'll play an important role in ensuring our hospitalized, boarding, and daycare patients receive exceptional care while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Kennel Responsibilities Provide daily care for hospitalized and boarding animals, including feeding, cleaning, exercising, and monitoring their well-being Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized kennel areas Assist with bathing, brushing, nail trims, and other basic grooming tasks Observe animal health and behavior, reporting any concerns promptly to the veterinary team Administer medications and treatments as directed Assist with safely handling animals during examinations and procedures when needed Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatments Dog Daycare & Boarding Responsibilities Supervise one-on-one play sessions with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Provide enrichment, attention, and socialization to daycare and boarding guests Prepare and administer meals and treats according to owner or hospital instructions Assist with guest check-in and check-out for boarding and daycare services Maintain hospital laundry and transport laundry between our facilities as needed
