Emergency & Critical Care Patient Support Monitor and manage hospitalized ER and ICU patients Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition Assist with emergency triage and patient stabilization Provide compassionate nursing care to critically ill and injured patients Technical Veterinary Skills IV catheter placement and venipuncture Administer medications (IV, SQ, oral) Assist with anesthesia monitoring and procedural support Perform laboratory diagnostics (blood, urine, fecal testing) Support radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures Assist with patient restraint and treatment procedures Maintain detailed and accurate medical records Team Collaboration & Client Support Work collaboratively with ER doctors, specialists, RVTs, assistants, and CSRs Support efficient workflow and patient care during high-volume periods Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients Educate clients regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and patient care updates
