As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in patient care and daily hospital operations, including: Intravenous (IV) catheter placement and venipuncture Administering medications (IV, SQ, oral, and prescribed treatments) Assisting with digital radiography and diagnostic imaging Performing laboratory diagnostics including blood, urine, and fecal testing Monitoring and caring for hospitalized patients Assisting veterinarians with examinations and treatments Client communication, education, and treatment plan discussions Admitting and discharging patients Managing patient records and invoicing Supporting surgical and dental procedures as needed Maintaining accurate medical records and patient care documentation
