About the Role As an Overnight ICU Veterinary Assistant , you will play a vital role in supporting veterinarians and credentialed technicians while caring for critically ill and hospitalized patients. This position is ideal for someone who remains calm under pressure, communicates effectively, and enjoys working in emergency and specialty medicine. You will be part of a collaborative team providing advanced veterinary care using modern equipment and progressive treatment protocols in a high-acuity hospital environment. Assist veterinarians and technicians with emergency and critical care procedures Monitor hospitalized and ICU patients overnight Obtain patient vitals and accurately document treatments and observations Assist with patient restraint, triage, diagnostics, and treatment preparation Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and ICU areas Support emergency surgeries and procedures as needed Communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care Provide compassionate care to patients and support to pet owners during emergencies
