About this role
As an Avionics Electrical Engineer , you will design and test custom circuit boards and other avionics devices that enable our space vehicles to meet mission requirements. You will work directly with software engineers, propulsion engineers, GNC engineers, and others. You will have the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of spacecraft electronics development, from designing new circuit boards to testing, debugging and integrating them onto space vehicles. (Leveling will be commensurate with experience). Develop circuit boards for spacecraft, with an emphasis on analog, digital or control electronics Perform rigorous analyses and simulations of avionics devices and systems Act as the Responsible Engineering authority for your hardware, owning your design from board bring-up and debugging in the lab through qualification and flight operations Define hardware interfaces and verify requirements Establish and maintain high technical standards Partner with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing and test teams
