We are seeking a Director of English, Maths & ESOL to provide strategic leadership across one of the College's most influential curriculum areas. Reporting to the Vice Principal Academic Skills & Quality, you will play a pivotal role in shaping curriculum development, embedding innovation and delivering a high-quality learning experience that enables students to achieve their full potential. As Director of English, Maths & ESOL, you will provide leadership across the College's English, Maths and ESOL provision, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, assessment and student achievement. You will: Lead curriculum development and innovation across English, Maths and ESOL. Drive improvements in attendance, achievement, high grades, progression and overall student success. Lead and develop a team of Heads of Department and curriculum staff, creating a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement. Champion quality assurance and quality improvement strategies that deliver measurable impact. Use performance intelligence and data to inform decision-making and drive sustained improvement. Build partnerships and develop innovative approaches that enhance teaching, learning and student outcomes
