Job summary We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing technology team. You will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable software solutions, working across both frontend and backend technologies in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven engineer looking to make a real impact within an ambitious and innovative organisation. With 5+ years of full stack development experience, design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using React on the frontend and Python/FastAPI on the backend, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across all user-facing features. Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (including services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch), drawing on 5+ years of hands-on cloud experience to own deployment pipelines and ensure system reliability and uptime. Design and optimise PostgreSQL database schemas, write efficient queries, and manage migrations as the product scales — including indexing strategies and query performance tuning, backed by proven experience in production database environments. Lead end-to-end feature development from technical scoping and API design through to testing and production release, leveraging senior-level experience collaborating closely with product and design stakeholders. Define and enforce engineering best practices across the team — including code review standards, branching strategies (Git), testing coverage requirements, and documentation norms, with a track record of doing so in a scaling startup or product environment.
