About this role
The Driver and Utility Worker plays a vital role in supporting daily dining operations by transporting food, supplies, and equipment between campus dining locations while assisting with back-of-house responsibilities. This position ensures that all retail outlets receive the products and resources needed to operate efficiently and provide exceptional service to guests. Safely transport food products, supplies, equipment, and other items from the main production facility to approximately six campus dining locations. Deliver backup meals and other food items during service periods to ensure uninterrupted operations. Load, unload, and organize deliveries while maintaining product quality and food safety standards. Verify delivery accuracy and communicate inventory shortages or discrepancies to management. Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries from supply and food vendors. Support dish room operations by washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, loading docks, vehicles, and workspaces. Follow all company, health department, and food safety regulations. Provide general utility support and assist kitchen or service teams during peak business periods. Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of dining operations.
