The Head of Pricing plays a leading role in the ongoing development and implementation of innovative initiatives relating to the evolution of Carma’s asset pricing and valuation capabilities. The primary responsibility will be to drive Carma’s pricing strategy across all customer segments and business lines, working cross-functionally to maximise revenue, margin and market competitiveness by bridging sophisticated data and analytics with real-world commercial execution. Own and evolve Carma’s end-to-end pricing and valuation strategy across buying, retail, wholesale and ancillary products. Design and socialise a clear strategic roadmap that defines the future state of Carma’s pricing and valuation capabilities, including key milestones and success measures. Partner closely with the Technology and Data teams to inform, assess and guide quantitative approaches, including descriptive, predictive and more advanced modelling techniques. Serve as the bridge between complex quantitative insights and commercial execution, translating data into clear business logic and decision-making frameworks. Rapidly embed into Carma’s ecosystem by developing a deep understanding of data sources, platforms, team dynamics and core business KPIs. Establish pricing governance, guardrails and approval frameworks to ensure consistency, transparency and commercial discipline. Monitor pricing performance and model accuracy, proactively identifying risks, opportunities and required adjustments. Influence buying and acquisition pricing decisions, balancing competitiveness with margin integrity. Present pricing insights, scenarios and recommendations to Executive Leadership, securing alignment and cross-functional buy-in. Drive continuous improvement across pricing tools, systems and processes to support scale and operational efficiency.
