About this role
We are currently seeking a Research Assistant in Psychology who will assist with high quality research on a research project into communication with AI Chatbots under the direction and supervision of the principal investigator. You will support the day-to-day running of experimental psychology studies and contribute to data collection, cleaning, data analysis, and literature reviewing. (This is a part time 0.8, fixed term contract until 31st July 2027) You will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and the wider project team to help set up and run research studies, clean, manipulate, and analyse data, and conduct literature reviews. The role will also involve contributing to research reports, publications, and written and verbal presentations, as well as attending and actively participating in project meetings. In addition, you will contribute to the wider activities of the Psychology Department and School of Sciences, comply with Health and Safety and other relevant internal procedures, and undertake any other duties that support the successful delivery of the research programme
