IT operations play a central role, connecting digital capabilities to the firm’s objectives and creating a solid foundation for continued success. IT Operations encompasses a broad range of activities focused on the day-to-day management and maintenance of the firm's critical IT infrastructure and services across several key areas: AV/VC (Audio Visual / Video Conferencing), Infrastructure, Security and Service Desk. IT Operations ensure that all IT systems and services are running smoothly and are thus strategically aligned with the firm’s long-term growth and innovation goals, with a laser focus on client service delivery and operational efficiency. About the role The IT Graduate will get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across IT support, infrastructure, cloud services, security, service management, and operational processes. This role is designed to provide exposure to a broad range of enterprise technologies while developing technical, analytical, and customer service skills within a professional services environment under the full support and guidance of the IT operations team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality IT services, contribute to operational excellence initiatives, and participate in projects that enhance the firm's technology landscape. You will regularly interact with key stakeholders in the firm as well as external vendors and will require excellent communication skills, the ability to solve problem independently and take the initiative where necessary. Audio Visual: Provide first-line support for all Audio Visual (AV) and Unified Communications technologies. Support meeting rooms, boardrooms, collaboration spaces, and event facilities, responding rapidly to AV incidents to minimise disruption to the firm and client activities and liaising with AV vendors, service providers and/or internal teams where required. Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms, video conferencing systems, digital signage solutions, audio systems and microphones, display screens and projectors Provide white-glove support for internal and client-facing meetings, presentations, webinars, and events, assist with meeting room testing and readiness checks to ensure rooms are operational before scheduled meetings. Support the implementation and rollout of new AV and collaboration technologies. Maintain AV asset inventories and documentation. Assist in producing user guides and training materials for collaboration technologies. IT Service Desk: Provide first and second-line support to users for hardware, software and business applications. Log, update, and manage incidents and service requests through the IT Service Management (ITSM) platform. Assist with troubleshooting desktop, laptop, mobile device, and peripheral issues. Support the setup, deployment, and maintenance of user devices. Monitor and triage users’ tickets and escalate complex issues when required. Infrastructure & Cloud Support Assist in supporting Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, MS-Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Microsoft Entra ID. Support infrastructure teams in maintaining Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Network services and Cloud platforms Assist with routine operational checks and maintenance activities. Assist in documenting systems, procedures, and configurations. IT Security Operations: Support IT security initiatives and operational security controls. Assist with security monitoring and alerts/incidents investigations. Participate in vulnerability remediation, patch management, and endpoint security activities. Promote security best practices across the business. Automation & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate operational tasks. Assist with scripting and automation activities using tools such as PowerShell. Support process improvement initiatives aligned with ITIL best practices. Contribute to documentation and knowledge management activities. Project Support: Participate in IT projects and technology deployments. Assist with testing, implementation, and user adoption activities. Support project documentation and reporting. Work with internal stakeholders and technology vendors when required .
