About this role
Anthesis is maturing rapidly and needs an execution-focused, action-orientated individual to join a small but growing PMO team in the Group Technology function, reporting to the Lead IT Project Manager (who oversees the Project Management function) and periodically engaging with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). You will coordinate initiatives across the organization including smaller planned work items as well as dedicated projects for strategic priorities. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget, and for bridging the gap between IT and business stakeholders by analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating business requirements into technical solutions. You will not simply be a coordinator or planner, but someone who is hands-on and makes progress happen. You will be more concerned with outcomes and benefits rather than rigid alignment to project management methodologies and processes. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed requirements for projects and initiatives. Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including process maps, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, project initiation documents, status updates and more. Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. Solution Analysis: Work closely with technical teams to conduct options analysis, assess feasibility and operational impact, quantify potential business benefits and contribute to business case development. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, resources, budget, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and team members. Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively and ensure that team members have the necessary tools, skills, and support to successfully execute project tasks. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on project objectives and timelines. Post-Implementation Review: Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and implement process improvements for future projects.
