Requirements: We require current and active SC Clearance to be considered.We are looking for excellent experience advocating for and working within GDS service standards.We need a strong portfolio or case studies showing research that informed successful service or product outcomes.We need demonstrable experience creating user journey maps or end-to-end diagrams.We are looking for strong storytelling skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.We require excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience in service design for public services is essential. Responsibilities: We plan, lead, and deliver service design for public service in Discovery.We use a range of methods such as stakeholder interviews and contextual inquiry.We synthesise findings into clear, actionable outputs such as problem statements, user journeys, blueprints, and flows.We translate insights into strategic priorities and design recommendations that inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.We collaborate with cross-functional teams including User Researchers, Interaction Designers, Business Analysts, and Technical Leads to ensure materials are insight driven.We communicate findings to varied audiences through visual artefacts, presentations, and stakeholder playbacks.We facilitate workshops, playback sessions, and show-and-tells to drive cross-functional understanding and alignment.We map the whole problem and think beyond the confines of the brief while staying mindful of the challenge at hand. We are offering a 3-month contract role inside IR35, paying up to £580 per day. The role is based in London with hybrid working, requiring 2-3 days onsite each week.
