Requirements: Basic experience troubleshooting Windows 10/11 operating systems.Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 apps suite and basic administrative exposure to the M365 Admin Centre.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) or Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900) is desirable.Experience in a service desk environment using ticketing software is desirable.Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and video conferencing platforms like Zoom is desirable. Responsibilities: Manage Microsoft 365 user accounts, including password resets, distribution groups, and shared mailboxes.Provide first-line support for IT requests through our ticketing system and escalate more complex issues to third-party support.Provision new corporate laptops and deploy Android phones to remote staff using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.Troubleshoot access permissions and sync issues in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.Monitor user devices for compliance with security policies using Microsoft Defender and Sophos.Provide guidance to non-technical users on maximising Microsoft 365 tools.Maintain clear IT ticket logs and documentation. We are offering a temporary IT Technician opportunity with a 3–6 month contract, working full time in a hybrid pattern with 3 days in the office and 2 from home. The role is based in Newcastle City Centre, and there is no parking available due to the location. The hourly rate is £14.00, paid weekly through OA, and the start date is ASAP.
