Requirements: We are looking for a contractor with existing exposure to Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms, specifically CrowdStrike Falcon.We require experience working with compliance frameworks.We are seeking someone able to support security operations, endpoint threat detection, and internal compliance tracking.We need a candidate who can work in a hands-on role at the intersection of technical security and governance frameworks. Responsibilities: We monitor alert queues via CrowdStrike Falcon and integrated log management tools to maintain visibility over our security posture.We investigate and escalate security alerts where required.We support alignment with NIST CSF, including tracking documentation, policy compliance, and audit requirements across ICT teams.We oversee regular vulnerability scanning schedules.We analyse scan results and recent penetration testing reports and prioritise findings. We are recruiting for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our central ICT Cyber Security team and support our Cyber Transformation Programme. This is a 6-month initial contract, offered on a hybrid basis with 1-2 days onsite and 3-4 days working from home. The role is full time and paid at £500.00 per day via umbrella.
