Requirements: We are looking for an Information Security Officer with experience across governance, risk, compliance, and security-by-design.We need someone who can partner effectively with business, IT, Legal, and Security teams.Experience supporting compliance programs such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and other applicable regulations is important.We are seeking experience in cybersecurity due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or carve-outs.We need someone comfortable with vendor risk assessments, security clauses, and supplier security and privacy requirements.Strong communication skills are required to present risks and recommendations to leadership and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities: We will rely on you to develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures aligned to business objectives.You will run security risk assessments, maintain risk registers, and drive risk treatment and remediation plans.You will support compliance programs and coordinate internal and external audits, including tracking findings, remediation, and evidence management.You will lead or support cybersecurity due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-outs.You will identify deal-impacting risks, estimate remediation effort, and advise on onboarding security priorities.You will oversee security monitoring and key metrics, including vulnerability SLAs, control coverage, and incident trends.You will ensure incident response readiness through playbooks, tabletop exercises, and post-incident reviews.You will perform vendor risk assessments and review security clauses to ensure supplier compliance.You will deliver security awareness initiatives and provide advisory support to projects and teams.You will communicate risks and recommendations clearly to leadership and non-technical stakeholders. We are recruiting for an Information Security Officer on a 6-month contract inside IR35, with a rate of up to £580 per day. The role is based in London with hybrid working, requiring two days per week on site.
