Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 per year
Requirements: Previous experience in manual software testingExperience testing web-based applicationsExperience testing Windows or desktop applicationsUnderstanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologiesAbility to write clear, structured test casesExperience documenting and communicating defectsStrong attention to detail and a methodical approachFamiliarity with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar tools would be advantageousBasic knowledge of databases, data validation or report testing would be beneficialAny knowledge of a programming or scripting language would be advantageous Responsibilities: Review user stories, change requirements and acceptance criteriaCreate and execute manual test casesTest web applications, Windows applications and system reportsComplete functional, regression, smoke and exploratory testingIdentify, document and track software defectsWork closely with developers to support defect resolutionRetest fixes and validate completed changesSupport testing activity throughout agile sprint cyclesMaintain test documentation, results and quality recordsHelp improve testing processes and quality standardsWork four days per week from our Newcastle office, with one day working from homeTravel to development sites and regional offices as required Technologies: AzureDevOpsSupportJIRAWebWindowsCloud More:
