Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year
Requirements: Minimum 5 years commercial experience developing with .NET/C#.Experience developing and supporting enterprise-level business applications.Experience building and integrating APIs with third-party systems.Commercial experience developing solutions within Microsoft Azure.Experience working across both cloud-hosted and on-premise environments.Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar is beneficial.Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and code quality.C# / .NET / .NET Framework.REST and SOAP APIs.Azure Functions and App Services.Entity Framework.Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).Software architecture and design patterns.Git / Azure DevOps.Dependency Injection.Unit Testing and Mocking Frameworks.Test Driven Development (TDD).EDI and data integration experience is desirable.Enterprise integration and messaging platforms experience is desirable.Broader Azure services and cloud architecture experience is desirable.Experience using AI tools to improve development productivity and software quality is desirable. Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain scalable .NET applications using C#.Build and integrate REST and SOAP APIs with internal and external systems.Develop cloud-based solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.Contribute to the modernisation and enhancement of existing applications.Work across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and documentation.Troubleshoot and resolve issues within live production environments.Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions.Take ownership of features and contribute to continuous improvement across development practices.Utilise modern development tools, including AI-assisted technologies, to improve efficiency and code quality. We are a collaborative development team working on a range of business-critical applications, including logistics, CRM, EDI and integration platforms. This is a hybrid role in the Midlands, with one day per week in the office, and a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 DOE.
